Human Capital Development

At Grupo Bafar, our commitment lies in providing our employees with the best possibilities for professional, economic and personal development. To achieve this, we have established Universidad Bafar, A.C., an institution that provides our team with the essential training, courses and tools to foster their continued growth within our organization.

Diversity & Inclusion

In our organization, we recognize cultural diversity as a fundamental pillar for the strengthening of our human capital. We firmly believe in promoting equal rights and opportunities for all our employees, regardless of their origin, race, nationality, marital status, opinions, gender, beliefs, economic class, health condition, family situation, sexual identity, union membership, disability or immigration status.

In addition, we promote a safe work environment free from any form of harassment, harassment, violence or mistreatment, whether verbal, physical or sexual. Our goal is to ensure safety and well-being in the workplace. For this reason, we urge our employees to report any incidents through the Human Capital area and the internal reporting lines that we have established.

To move towards the creation of a diverse and inclusive work environment, Grupo Bafar is dedicated to formalizing a Diversity and Inclusion Policy. This effort seeks to establish clear guidelines and practices that promote diversity and ensure equal opportunities for all employees, regardless of their origin, gender, race or any other personal characteristic.

Health & Safety

At Grupo Bafar, we have implemented a comprehensive health and safety strategy with the aim of preventing and mitigating the risks that our employees face in their daily routine. In line with the regulations established by the Mexican Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, we have developed three fundamental guidelines, which are detailed in our Code of Ethics. These guidelines allow us to maintain health and safety in all our work areas.

Risk Assessment

Conducting an analysis of the hazards and risks inherent to the various activities carried out by our employees is the first step to implementing appropriate prevention and mitigation strategies. At Grupo Bafar, we carry out a Risk Analysis by Work Activity. Through this analysis, we evaluate and examine in detail the possible hazards and risks associated with each work activity carried out by our collaborators. This allows us to identify and understand the specific risks that could arise in each task and work area.

Health in the Workplace

As part of our comprehensive approach to occupational health and safety management, we annually implement health campaigns comprising a variety of bi-monthly, seasonal, and recurring programs. These campaigns are led and supervised by our medical department.

In addition, at Grupo Bafar we provide a wide range of benefits designed to ensure the constant health care of our employees, including:

Workplace Wellbeing

The current situation stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic has given us the opportunity to initiate research into the implementation of remote work as part of our organizational structure. Our focus is on maximizing both the well-being of our employees and the competitiveness of our organization. To support our decisions regarding the best work schemes, whether in home office, face-to-face work or flexible hours, we have carried out a comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis. This analysis provides us with the necessary basis to make informed decisions for the benefit of the well-being of our employees and the overall success of the company.

During 2021, we introduced the Bafar Share Plan with the aim of recognizing the loyalty and sense of belonging of our leaders and managers. This plan is based on the support that Grupo Bafar requires to achieve its financial goals in the coming years, and seeks to provide executives with the opportunity to increase their wealth in the long term. Through this plan, we reward the commitment and contribution of our management and executive levels, thus promoting their participation in the results and sustainable success of the company.

As part of our initiatives implemented in 2021, we have established the Retirement Policy at Grupo Bafar. The main objective of this policy is to guarantee the stability and well-being of our employees once they conclude their work in the organization. Through this policy, the amount of the retirement bonus that our employees over 60 years of age receive when they retire from the company or when they join as advisors is determined. In this way, we seek to ensure an adequate and dignified closure of the work carried out by our collaborators throughout their working life in Grupo Bafar.

Within the framework of the IMSS Nursery System, Fundación Grupo Bafar has established the Baby-B daycare center with the aim of providing support to our collaborators by offering high-quality care and attention for their sons and daughters between the ages of 45 days and 4 years. This nursery is part of Fibra Nova's infrastructure and has a capacity to care for up to 150 babies and children, complying with the most rigorous quality standards in its operation and services provided.
